Ndejje University on Saturday 13th March 2021 held her Guild President elections and Ms. Maliam Nambooze a NUP leaning candidate was declared winner.
Nambooze trounced her close rival Patrick Odongkara. Nambooze polled 1010 votes from both the main campus in Luweero and Ndejje branch whereas Odongkara garnered 951.
In the same spirit, a female student was also elected Vice President. Nabaasa Charity beat her rival Nelson Mukunya hands down. Nabaasa polled 1294, while Mukunya was voted 785 times from both main campus and Ndejje campus.
Ndejje University Joins Mbarara University (MUST) with female guild presidents as they Mbarara based campus two weeks a go elected Mariam Arikosi as their 2021/2022 guild president.
Congratulations ladies. It sure looks like the future is female!
