Muni University ushered in an new era of students’ leadership after the elections held on Saturday 25th March, 2023.
Ogenrwoth Victor was indeed victorious after garnering the most votes to become the 8th Guild President of Muni University.
Victor is a third year student pursuing Bachelor of Nursing Science at the Arua – based institution.
According to the Chairperson Electoral Commission Mr. Droma Morrish Thomson, Mr. Ogenroworth won with a total of 268 votes while the other contestant, Mr. Amajuru Herbert, also a third year student pursuing Bachelor of Science in Agriculture got 150 votes.
The duo wrapped up the electoral campaigns with a final guild presidential debate that broadcasted live on Radio Pacis on Friday, March 24th before heading to polls the following day.
Ogenrwoth Victor will now take on the mantle from H.E Acuga Babra Carolyn, the outgoing Guild President.
