It has come to the notice of many via the Banda residences that there are frequent suspicious gatherings held by opposition party guild president aspirants.
These meetings have systematically been arranged by the parties on an “invite only” basis leaving one to believe that the college electoral commission and parent parties have no knowledge of them.
Our sources say these meetings are being held so as to gather momentum and funding for the forth coming primary elections of the parties but there could be more to them than is being let out
The actual objective of these meetings is not quite clear but can be assumed to be a strategy to push forth candidates despite losing primaries in there respective parties and creation of make-believe and conspiracies as those via Hon. Tundulu’s impeachment.
The meetings are strategic to mostly the hostel residing students as these constitute the highest delegates and influence in the university parties and general politics (Most Kyambogo students reside in hostels)
A one Banda hostel owner “name withheld” came forward claiming he had been informed of the gathering as a mere recollection before the lectures began only to discover later on the actual agenda forcing him to cast them out in fear of being an accomplice.
Meanwhile the political storm has just risen over the university and this can only be considered the beginning as more is yet to come.
