Our voices are louder than the bullets – MUK Guild President Elect Tells NUP Supporters at Her Unveiling

Makerere University new Guild President Shamim Nambassa is settling in well in her position at the wheel with overwhelming support all around her.

The vibrant ”boxer” (from Mary Stuart Hall) was on Monday unveiled to her parent party members of the National Unity Platform (NUP) at their headquarters in Kamwokya – Kampala.

The session was graced by the presence of prominent party members and supporters including NUP President Kyagulanyi Robert, Spokesperson Joel Senyonyi, Head of Security Eddie Mutwe and many others.

“Gallant intellectuals, Your guild president was unveiled by the people’s president H.E Kyagulanyi Robert at the NUP party headquarters at Kamwokya,” Shamim announced on her social media accounts.

In her speech at the party headquarters, Shamim was full of praise to the party leadership for playing a big part in her success and vowed to not only serve Makerere University but also Uganda as a whole.
