Bugema University held its 24th Graduation Ceremony on Monday 12th November at the Main campus in Luweero where over 1523 students recieved various academic awards
Of the 1523 graduates from Four schools, 858 (56.3%) were male whereas 665 (43.7%) were female. These were awarded postgraduate degrees, diplomas, and certificates depending on the fields that they pursued.
The Vice Chancellor of Adventist University of Africa, Dr. Delbert Baker was the Chief Guest at the ceremony and he encouraged Ugandans to embrace peace and desist from violence.
“There has been a lot of senseless massacre of innocent people and marginalization of others. We have a role to play in promoting peace so as to bring this to a halt,” said Dr Delbert.
The ceremony was also graced by the Chancellor of Bugema University, Dr. John Kakembo who also doubles as the President of the Seventh Day Adventist Church Union of Uganda.
He urged the graduates to be humble and faithful as they approach the world that is full of difficulties.
Bugema University is a Private University affiliated and promulgated by the Seventh Day Adventist Church. With its main Campus in Luweero, it is part of the Seventh Day Adventist School System, the world’s second largest Christian School system.
