Over 3,000 students have applied for student loans 2022 to pursue their studies from different private chartered and public universities across the country.
According to the Higher Education Students’ Financing Board (HESFB) communication, applications for students loans have been received from 3,070 students by deadline on October 15, 2022 at 11:59pm.
The list for this year’s successful beneficiaries is expected to be ready in three weeks.
“We are working around the clock to ensure that the list of successful beneficiaries is released in the stipulated 21 days,” HESFB notice read.
The Higher Education Students’ Financing Board (HESFB) is a statutory body established by The Higher Education Students’ Financing Act, No. 2 of 2014 with a mandate to provide Loans and Scholarships to Ugandan students seeking to pursue Higher Education.
