Kikoni based Nakiyinji Hostel, a girls’ residential area of students at Makerere University has been a source of surprises this last weekend when girls were snapped jumping over the fence after a night out.
According to our sources, the girls had gone to a night out and reached the gate only to find it locked with no trace of the askari/security guard or gate keeper. Left with no choice, the girls jumped over the fence to access their rooms of residence.
“The askari also goes out to club. The days he goes, he first locks the gate and then goes out. Imagine!” one of the girls that jumped over told our reporter.
We were not able to get to the management of the Hostel for a comment as our calls to known contact of the residential place went unanswered.
