The Power Power tirade seems to be taking over University politics as Campus Bee can exclusively report that Uganda Young Democrats (UYD) candidate who doubles as a People Power candidate, Luswata Byron has been declared the newly elected guild president for Nkumba University.
Luswata Byron who was nominated under the Uganda Young Democrats (UYD) flag, later used the People Power slogan and dress code during campaigns- thus emerging victorious.
It is now a trend of People Power and UYD to sweep guild posts across universities. At Kyambogo Tundulu won, whereas Kateregga Julius (UYD and People Power) emerged victorious in the Makerere University highly contested guild polls.
