[PHOTOS] How it went at the Makerere University Inter-Hall Swimming Tournament

Makerere Games Union yesterday held their Inter-hall swimming tournament bringing together all the halls at the swimming pool to tussle it out.

The two-day tournament which is slated to end today had most of the action packed on the first day with the ladies from Africa and Complex halls putting up a good fight as Mary Stuart struggled.

The gentleman from Mitchell, Lumumba, Nkrumah, Livingstone, Nsibirwa also tussled it out at the tournament. Mitchell and Lumumba bossed the day.

The Sports tutor Peninah Kabenge opened this year’s inter hall swimming tournament as all halls of residence participated in day one activities which included freestyle, and butterfly.

The winners shall be announced later today but the criticism was that most of the swimmers are members of Makerere Sharks the University swimming team making the tournament fairly unbalanced.
