After Kyambogo University People Power Guild President, Tundulu Jonathan was impeached from Office of the Guild President by the Guild Representative Council (G.R.C.), his supporters went up in arms baying for the blood of those GRCs that voted in favour of their President’s impeachment.
After a long and tedious G.R.C. sitting that was convened and kicked off at 11:00 AM, the Guild President tried to defend himself from the allegations against him but all in vain. He even reached a point of pleading for dialogue with the GRCs but they weren’t ready to compromise anymore.
Police is currently engaged in running battles with Tundulu’s supporters as we file this story and teargas is being fired around the Banda based university. Here are some photos!
