Ugandan singer turned politician Hon Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine was spotted at Makerere University this Thursday while attending Nelson Mandela’s memorial lecture that took place at the University’s main Hall.
While driving back from the memorial lecture, Bobi Wine’s car was surrounded by a group of Makerere students who demanded to have a word with him just next to the guild offices. However, Bobi Wine turned down their request when he informed them that he was so fixed and he had to attend more functions.
The disappointed group slowly withdrew from the car chanting “Honorable… Obunda W’akabaka… kale rasta”. At the same function, President Museveni was the chief guest whose visit boosted Makerere University’s security for nearly four days before his visit.
The same group of students stopped President Museveni on his entry to the University and had a short chat with him. He later headed to the main hall for the Nelson Mandela Memorial Lecture. We got you the photos;
