Makerere University has today concluded her 71st graduation ceremony which was both physical and virtual following the outbreak of COVID-19. The event, which kicked off on Monday 17th May saw a total of 12,550 graduands walk away with degrees and diplomas in their respective courses.
The five-day event was today sealed by the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology Who graduated alongside with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences to wrap up the thrilling ceremony.
Since only PhD graduands, Masters’ Degree graduands and first Class Honours Degree Graduands were allowed to physically attend the ceremony, most graduands took to their social media platforms to share pictures of themselves rubbing shoulders with their campus pals for one more time.
