Fresh off holding a small strike over missing marks, Makerere University Business School (MUBS) students accepted to sit for end of semester exams. The exams officially kicked off on Saturday29th January 2022.
According to the photos shared on the MUBS official social media platforms, the exams are going on smoothly. There was worry that the reopening of bars on Monday 24th January will interrupt the students but that will be told by the exam results.

According to the adjusted timetable, some exams that were meant to be done on 27th and 28th January 2022 will be done on 18th and 19th of February respectively while the other initially scheduled exams maintain their dates.
The Nakawa-based campusers held a mini strike on 24th January 2022 over examination irregularities. Some students were complaining over missing marks while others were not satisfied with their marks. A few scholars claimed that they were given marks yet they did not sit for the exams.

These problems were later addressed following a meeting with their Principal, Prof Waswa Balunya. The exams were later pushed from 27th January to 29th in a bid to address students’ concerns.
