On Saturday, the Uganda Beach Soccer Association organised a beach soccer tournament dubbed “Pepsi Beach Soccer League” at Lido Beach Entebbe. The Beach soccer league which was in its final stage was organised by Pepsi, Uganda Beach Soccer Association, and FUFA. The final game was between St. Lawrence University and Nkumba University an the latter won after a long hustle to get ahead.
Individuals that won medals include Kibirige Meddy (Nkumba select), Somoka Roch (Nkumba Select), Kayiiwa Allan (talented with 33 goals), Muwonge Salim (Best Coach). St. Lawrence University was the first runner up while Nkumba University team was the champion for the season 2015/2016.
