Bayube Bruno who happens to be among the 16 candidates running for Makerere University guild presidency office has defied the odds in relation to his health condition. Bayube was allegedly beaten by goons last week during the Mitchell Hall rally.
This guild aspirant was later admitted at Case Clinic, where he has been receiving medical attention since last week. While talking to some of his close supporters, we were tipped that Bayube is no longer in hospital but he goes for medication every day before holding a rally and as well goes back for more after his campaigns. “He moves and campaigns with a cannula and after a procession, he goes for medicine,” a source that prefers anonymity told Campus Bee.
While holding yesterday’s rally at University Hall (UH), Bayube was spotted with a cannula on his hand throughout the rally. Basing on his campaign slogan “Struggle is our life”, the guild aspirant looks determined to continue with his remaining rallies ahead of the elections slated for this Friday 2nd March.
