These adorable photos of Oxfam Executive Director, Winnie Byanyima hanging out with her nieces, Lilly and Holly Kanyamunyu is a perfect example of ‘family comes first.’

These little, extremely beautiful girls from the Kanyamunyu family played all day long with their supportive aunt on the well mowed compound of the Kasangati home, commonly referred by FDC supporters as “state house.”

On Tuesday, a group of Acholi leaders attacked Winnie Byanyima (also wife to opposition leader Dr. Kiiza Besigye) for standing as surety for businessman Matthew Kanyamunyu who is accused of murdering one Kenneth Akena.

The Acholi leaders led by Aruu County MP Odonga Otto attacked Byanyima saying it is wrong for her to be seen to side with a suspected criminal. The Kanyamunyus were however denied bail.
