Mukono municipality was today flooded with confetti especially in the parts surrounding Uganda Christian University (UCU) due to the ongoing jubilations.
Today, October 28, marked the second part of the 23rd Graduation ceremony at UCU main campus.
Over 1500 students were conferred with degrees in various disciplines both at undergraduate and post graduate levels.
“Today, 1570 students have graduated: 828 females (53%) and 742 males (47%). Of these, 36 have graduated with First Class,” the university announced.
The occasion was blessed with the presence of the the former Chancellor, Archbishop Stanley Ntagali and the current Chancellor Stephen Kazimba who presided over the event.
The day was filled with glamour as evidenced on the graduands’ faces, together with their guardians on such a memorable day.
