Hundreds of Kyambogo University students graced the university’s students center today afternoon to witness the nomination of FDC party flag bearers in a fun filled ceremony. Students from different camps were spotted escorting their respective leaders to-be while arriving at the mentioned venue.
By press time, only three candidates were officially nominated and given authority to kick off campaigns within the university ahead of the party’s elections slated for Thursday next week. Some of the candidates expected to return their nomination forms today include; Mugisha Trust Nduwayo – MTN ka Thupu, Tukundane Ivan – the Obote Man, Kiige Brian – Full Package, Arigye Ceaser and Kato Enock Mwebaze, the Lion.
The fun part about today’s nominations was the dancing bit where the Banda-based babes were spotted shaking what the lord gave them. Music, screaming and whistling headlined the day.
