Season 8 of the NSSF career expo has this Thusday morning moved to Makerere University where it will be held for two days of Thursday 5th April and Friday 6th. The educative expo features panelists from top companies in the country including NSSF, Daily Monitor, Blu Flamingo among others.
Today’s expo was kicked off by Keith Kuyo commonly known as DJ BK who took Makerere students through his life experience with an inspiring story. The former Sanyu and X fm DJ also equipped Makerere students with career advise and requested them never to repeat his mistakes like studying 8 years for a degree.
The second speaker was NSSF’s Data Manager Micheal Mugisa who clarified a few issues to Makerere University students about technological advancements in relation to digital marketing.
The expo has been moving around various Universities in Uganda including MUBS, KIU, Kyambogo, IUIU Mbale, Mbarara University among others. All students in these Universities have been tipped on ways to secure internship opportunities, jobs as well as dealing with everyday life.
