As the ongoing Guild Presidential rallies at Makerere University continue to heat up, yesterday was a fun filled evening as Makerere students turned up at Nkrumah hall to support their candidates. The event was headlined by 16 Guild candidates including the initially pending candidates.
Despite the teargas that rocked Nkrumah earlier, the excited supporters still turned up for their candidates. Some of the candidates that officially began their rally yesterday include Kinene Edward, Papa Were among others. These candidates were escorted by their supporters from Nkrumah Hall all the way to their respective halls of residents after the rally.
