The second day of Makerere University 68th graduation ceremony was something to look up for as the graduands stormed freedom square rocking their gowns. Students who graduated were from the colleges of COBAMS AND COCIS who walked away with PHDs, Master’s degrees, Bachelor’s degrees, post graduate and diplomas.
The ceremony kicked off Tuesday 16th January and will continue up to Friday 19th January. Similar to yesterday’s ceremony, Prof Barnabas Nawangwe who happens to be the University’s Vice Chancellor gave a motivational speech to the fresh graduands. The graduands were conferred by Prof Ezra Suruma who is the Chancellor of Makerere University.
Compared to yesterday, today’s ceremony was a bit calm as the graduands kept calm even when their names were read.
