Kabale University celebrated a significant milestone today, 28th June, 2024, as over 1300 students received academic awards.
This was during the university’s 8th graduation ceremony held at Kikungiri Campus.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. Ezra Suruma, the Chancellor and guest speaker. In his address, Prof. Suruma emphasized the importance of viewing challenges as opportunities. “Problems around us are opportunities,” he stated, encouraging graduates to approach life’s obstacles with a positive mindset and a readiness to innovate and create solutions.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Joy C. Kwesiga, also took to the stage to deliver an inspiring speech, congratulating the graduates on their accomplishments.
Nicholas Kamara, the Member of Parliament for Kabale Municipality and chief guest shared his own words of wisdom with the graduates. He urged them to make the most of their current circumstances and resources.
“Start where you are with what you have and make the best out of it,” Kamara advised, reminding the graduates that success often begins with taking small, determined steps.
