A group of Makerere University students have this morning been whisked away to unknown destination after the Police arrested them along with FDC’s chief mobiliser Ingrid Turinawe.
The group led by a one notorious Simon Wanyera, a MAK GRC along with other students clad in black t-shirts was bundled onto a police patrol pick-up along Kampala road as they headed to the high court where Besigye’s bail application case was being heard.
Police relentlessly tried to stop the protesters from accessing the High court premises but later on lost its patience and rounded them up and drove off to an unknown destination.
Their untimely arrest comes after they took to the streets of Kampala protesting the Kampala High Court decision of adjourning the hearing of the bail application of FDC former Presidential candidate Col Dr Kizza Besigye to tomorrow.
