The guild race at Makerere is a tight one, predicting with perfection is a far cry… the secret nature of the ballot makes it harder. Often, the winning side is judged by the noise and number of followers, however, money and some intoxicants can create an illusion of fame. Employ loud vagabonds and people might think you actually are popular. Campusbee conducted an independent poll to find a scientific chance of potential winners. over 500 students were consulted, tallying to 500 quasi votes, we used social media platforms and also physically reached out to random members of the electorate.

FDC’s Mwine Musa leads with 21 of the votes, Opoya Michael, the NRM reject -cum independent follows closely with 20 votes, Stellah Namulindwa, DP, raises 16 votes, independent Festus Bamwoya, NRM’s Ssentongo Ivan and ,Independent Mukula George and tie at 4th position with 8 votes, Baguma Andrew raises 6 votes and Lubega Henry raises 5 votes.
The race is among the top 3; Stellah, Opoya and Mwine and their processions don’t disappoint.
