The latest from Banda is that lecturers are not going to ever run out of innovation. One lecturer at Kyambogo University devised means to teach after a power blackout in the campus intercepting his lecture at night.

The lecturer at the Faculty of Science surprised students when he asked them to light torches from their smartphones to provide light for the lecture instead of advocating for a standby generator.

“The lecture will not end just because power has gone. I want you to get out your phones and light your torches so that the lecture can go on” he told students.

The students had no option but to follow his orders because according to our sources, he roll calls every beginning of lecture, in the middle and at the end. So you can not survive him if you don’t play by his rule book and orders.
