KYU-MUK burry hatchet
The recently sworn enemies, Kyambogo and Makerere, burried their feud under the umbrella of politics. Opoya Michael, MUK Minister for National & Pan African Affairs and Kafuko vowed to create peace and unity among the two universities. Opoya noted: “KYU-MUK relationship should not be like the south Africans and African foreigners in Durban. We are all students. We are family.”
Recently, a university football match between KYU and MUK was cancelled after choas ensued, leaving a few students injured.
