Bugema University is set to celebrate a significant milestone on Sunday, November 10, 2024, as the institution holds its 30th graduation ceremony.
This year’s event will be graced by the presence of President Yoweri Museveni, who will join over 1,000 graduating students and the university’s leadership to commemorate this notable achievement.
The graduation ceremony, which will take place at the university’s main campus in Luweero district, is expected to be presided over by the university’s Chancellor, Pr Dr. Moses Maka, who also serves as the Archbishop of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Uganda.
Graduands will receive awards across various disciplines, including Master’s Degrees, Bachelor’s Degrees, and Diplomas from the School of Graduate Studies and Research, School of Agricultural and Applied Sciences, School of Health and Allied Sciences, School of Business, School of Education, School of Science and Technology, and the School of Theology and Religious Studies.
“We are honored to have President Museveni join us in celebrating this milestone,” said the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mary Nakasi.
With preparations for the 30th graduation ceremony in high gear, graduands are expected to live up to the day’s theme; “Destined for Greatness in Excellence.”
