The Principal of Makerere University Business School (MUBS), Professor Wasswa Balunywa has pledged to employ some of the outgoing guild executive members.
This was revealed during the MUBS guild handover which was held on Friday, 25th February at Silver Springs Hotel in Kampala where the newly elected guild leaders were ushered into power.
While delivering his speech to the Guild leaders, Prof Balunywa thanked the outgoing leadership and promised to employ those that will graduate with first-class degrees in the forthcoming 72nd graduation ceremony.
‘’I’m going to give a job to the outgoing Guild President, the Guild Minister of Education and any other member of the outgoing guild executive who may have first-class degree,’’ He pledged.
The outgoing Guild president Robison Ogwang thanked the MUBS admin for allowing students to sit for examinations during COVID-19 times even without completing their tuition. He also thanked the MUBS management for increasing the number of beneficiaries on the sports tuition waiver from 25 to 60 across all MUBS campuses.
