Former Makerere University Ag. deputy vice chancellor (Finance and Admin) Prof William Bazeyo has been appointed as the chairperson council at Busitema University.
Bazeyo, who retired from Makerere University in 2021, served as Ag. deputy vice chancellor at Makerere, dean school of public health, chair grants management committee and chair Reseaarch and Innovation Fund.
Makerere University congratulated Bazeyo upon his appointed in a post on X (formerly twitter).
“We heartily congratulate Professor William Bazeyo former Dean Makerere School of Public Health, former Ag. Deputy Vice Chancellor (Finance and Administration), first Head Grants Administration and Management Support Unit (GAMSU) and Chair Grants Management Committee, Research and Innovations Fund (RIF) upon his appointment as Chairperson of Council Busitema University,”
In 2022, Makerere University honoured Prof Bazeyo after he sought retirement from the university service on December 31st, 2021. Professor Bazeyo’s service to Makerere University spans over three decades as a physician, public health specialist, academic, researcher, and academic administrator.
