Prof John Yakobo Okebi has officially been installed as the third chancellor of Kyambogo University having been appointed by President Museveni to fill up the position.
Prof Yakobo was installed in a ceremony officiated by Hon Jessica Alupo, who represented president Yoweri Museveni, at Kyambogo University on November 8, 2022.
Prof Yakobo Okebi will replace Prof John Ssebuwufu who has served as the institution chancellor from 2014 to 2022.
Prof Yakobo is a professor of hydro-biology and environmental expert who has recently served as the chairperson Kyambogo University council.
