Kyambogo University is slowly becoming a new hub of student-artists who hit on trendy topics of conversation.
We were used to the Mun *G and Crystal Panda craze in tapping into trendy hashtags to make mega hits. The Kyambogo students seem to have attended good lectures on how to shine in a lockdown.
We had Eezzy, real names Opoka Eric trending with “Tumbiza Sound” in the first lockdown which got him in some ‘Eezzy trouble’. Ben Morgan, a third year student pursuing a bachelor of Business Administration is stepping in Eezzy’s shoes with another trendy hit “Pulosesi by Pulosesi.”
As social media went crazy with former Busiro South MP Peter Sematimba’s house maid’s story, Ben Morgan grabbed the opportunity, went to the studios and turned the trendy conversation into a song.
Listening to this song makes you laugh along as you enjoy the beats of producer Samuel zii in the background. He tries to tap on all the trendy hashtags that have rocked Uganda’s second lockdown It is not Ben Morgan’s first attempt at Music.
He has produced many songs; including Jemba and Kyemoola and Wanyumye with big city producers like Sidesoft, Kaysam ku mapeesa and more. His music stems back to his high school days at Luzira Secondary School where he participated in many music competitions and since then, Morgan has never looked back.
This song does not yet have an official video yet but it is trending on social channels like tiktok and on some facebook pages.
