Former Miss Uganda, Quiin Abenakyo, has been making headlines once again, but this time it’s not for the glitz and glamour of the pageant world. The stunning beauty recently revealed a surprising revelation about her personal life, disclosing a deliberate choice to put romance on hold for two years in pursuit of academic excellence.

In an exclusive interview on Sanyuka TV, Abenakyo opened up about her decision to abstain from romantic relationships and take a hiatus from social media while she dedicated herself to earning her master’s degree in South Korea.

The former beauty queen, who graduated with a Master’s degree from the prestigious KAIST Graduate School of Global Digital Innovation (GDI) last month, spoke passionately about the significance of prioritizing education above all else.

“I made a deliberate choice to abstain from romantic relationships and stay off social media for two years while pursuing my master’s degree in South Korea. During this time, I dedicated myself solely to acquiring knowledge in Global Digital Innovation,” Abenakyo shared during the interview.

Her commitment to her academic pursuits paid off in spades, as she successfully completed her master’s program at KAIST GDI, an institution renowned for its excellence in digital innovation education.

Abenakyo’s decision to focus on her education over personal relationships and social media echoes a growing sentiment among today’s youth, who are increasingly prioritizing their career and academic aspirations.
