She started with a simple cheeky video of her narrating her encounter with her dream car- The Range Rover 2016 model. After posting it on her Facebook Timeline, the video was widely viewed, shared and talked about. With a million views, social media users nick-named her the ‘Range Rover Girl’.
Her name is Martha Kagimba, also known as Martha Kay. Now, the latest vibe in the Hive indicate that this Uganda Christian University [UCU] mass communication finalist last week sealed a multi-million ambassadorship deal with the Gates Foundation worth over shs50m.
This “Range Rover Girl” will embark on a project of inspiring teens to express themselves freely (through photograph) and do anything they’re passionate about, in a campaign dubbed FLY, #DoYourThing.
Close pals to Kagimba tell Campus Bee that this ‘eye roller’ was over the moon after penning the deal and that she can now afford enough data bundles (without using Beerako) to post on Facebook ‘funny’ videos of herself while rolling her ga white eyes.
From Team Campus Bee, we say congrats to this “Range Rover Girl”.
