The recently concluded 70th graduation ceremony of Makerere University didn’t stop at changing the minds of graduates as they are entering the job market but also went a head to change the minds of people from the public to develop interest of going back to school because of personal and family reasons.
On Friday 17th January 2020, Dr Hamza Sebunya a medical graduate from Makerere University also a husband to the female vocalist Rema Namakula, organised his graduation party at Mestil Hotel Nsambya, the party was graced by various city tycoons, doctors from Mulago Hospital and Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata.
As she was giving her speech Rema revealed that she is set to join Kyambogo University to finish her degree to develop their family together in every aspect.
“As a wife to Dr Sebunya, I feel very happy to be here celebrating with him his degree in human medicine and surgery, because everything that happens to Hamza we have to celebrate it together. Even when the problems come we have to face them together. On that reason therefore this year I have decided to go back to Kyambogo University to finish my degree” Rema said.
It is said that Rema was a student at Kyambogo University sometime back but we have not yet known the course she was doing and what she is going to do.
