Makerere University Business School (MUBS) has maintained its remarkable streak of producing the best overall performers in humanities at Makerere University’s graduation ceremonies.
The latest addition to this precedented trend was Abdul Latif Umar Bagoole at the 75th graduation ceremony.
Bagoole’s exceptional CGPA of 4.97 in Bachelor of Leisure and Hospitality Management (BLHM) not only earned him the best overall student award but also continues a tradition of excellence that spans over a decade.
Historical data shows a consistent pattern of outstanding performance from MUBS students, with CGPAs consistently above 4.8 since 2013.
The impressive record began with Bernard Engotoit in the 63rd graduation and has seen remarkable achievers including Rashid Taban (4.91), Sarah Namboozo (4.92), and Hajarah Ali Namuwaya (4.94) in subsequent years.
This year’s outstanding performance by Bagoole during Makerere’s 75th graduation ceremony, where 13,662 students graduated, further cements MUBS’s position as a center of academic excellence.
