Former Makerere University researcher Dr Stella Nyanzi has this evening been readmitted to hospital, less than a day after she was discharged from Mengo Hospital over kidney related complications. The researcher has this evening informed her followers via her social platforms that she is back in hospital.
“I am readmitted. I am back in hospital with some more kidney ailments. Please pray that I beat this illness.” Nyanzi posted.
Nyanzi, who was recently rumored to be poisoned spent a couple of days in hospital where she found out that she has bad anaemia, sick kidneys and foul UTI. The researcher alleges that she contracted these illnesses while in Luzira Prison where she spent several months for allegedly annoying the president.
The researcher has recently suffered from major complications and COVID-19-related symptoms like cold, fever which were followed by vomiting.
“I have trauma triggered by torture in prison.” Nyanzi’s poem about her sickness reads in part.
The sad news has come few days after her fans were jubilating her return on social media. The fans had counted to her to kill their quarantine boredom especially when she pens those adult poems. The sick searcher recently warmed up her followers when she asked them for phone sex tips. Her post got fans excited and they have been waiting for her narration after trying it out.
Nyanzi, who was suspended from Makerere University over indiscipline in 2018 spent most of her unemployed life behind bars until when she was released few weeks ago.
