A generous X (former Twitter) user, Frank Mwesigye, has stretched his hand to help a Makerere University finalist (awaiting graduation) who has been juggling different hustles, including vending soft drinks on Kampala city’s streets for survival.
The graduand known to many as Phil, will soon leave the hustle of vending behind as he embarks on a new journey to success.
The well-wisher is well known for his affiliation to the MK Movement which is backing Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba for the 2026 elections. Mwesigye is as well perceived as a rich dude basing on the lifestyle he exhibits on his platforms.
The kind gesture comes after Mwesigye had been following and receiving numerous requests from the graduand who doubles as a social media influencer.
“As I had promised in September 23rd 2023 that I can’t stand seeing my brother marketing drinks on the streets of Kla, Phil will officially start working on 1st Dec this year, additionally, he will shift from kikoni to a better place in Najjera.” The well-wisher wrote, in part.
It is a good time to be alive when someone uses their wealth and resources to uplift those less privileged.
In a similar uplift, Mwesigye promised to come to the help of a social media influencer known as ‘Ishmael’ on X.
