The cloud of grief and sorrow continues to hover over Makerere University Business School (MUBS) after Igoe Sheila, a second year BBA student that has been missing for days was announced dead Tuesday morning.
According to a family source that this website has been in touch with since her disappearance, Igoe’s body was found decomposing at the city mortuary in Mulago at around 10:00 am after almost a week of searching for her whereabouts.
Igoe was last seen in the vicinity of her hostel at Ideal Platinum on Wednesday last week at around 2am. It is alleged that she got involved in a road accident and died at Mulago Hospital where she had been rushed for treatment.
Campus Bee has been informed that there is going to be a vigil at Igoe’s father’s home this evening in Katelemwa Estate- which is a few meters off Gayaza road, on the right hand side in front of a sign post of Miriam High School.
There will be a church service at St. Augustine, Makerere tomorrow at 10:00 am and burial will take place on Thursday at her ancestral home in Palisa.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
