News reaching our desk indicates that a student of the Law Development Centre (LDC), Kibirige Timothy, has been attacked and killed by a group of thugs. The thugs are said to have killed the student by strangulation.
“I have received sad news of the tragic death of one of our dear students…”, reads an email from the head bar course, Annet Karungi addressed to the students while mourning his death.
The deceased was studying the post graduate bar course in Legal Practice from LDC Kampala Campus before the unfortunate incident.
The Centre has arranged transportation for the burial of the fallen student that will take place today in Mpigi district, at 2 pm and cancelled any classes that were scheduled for that time to next week to allow the students mourn and bury their colleague.
“Please register with the Firm leader C5 if you wish to go for the burial” reads the email for a bus that scheduled to set off at midday today.
