Ndejje university has reshuffled and demoted some members of its top administrators and lecturers as well as non-teaching staff. This comes at a time when Ndejje is weeding off under performing and incompetent staff to reclaim its lost glory of being the best private university in Uganda.
Sabiiti Turyasingura who happens to be the head of department Extra-mural studies refused to hand over his office upon being reshuffled and pushed from head of department to just a normal lecturer. Sabiiti was asked to leave his office and become just a casual lecturer which he adamantly refused.
Upon refusal, he locked his office and disappeared from campus, a move that prompted the university management to order masked askaris and mugged men to forcefully cut open his office using power-saw.
An impeccable source told Campus Bee that the top administrators are being reshuffled with a number of others having their contacts terminated/not renewed.
Ndejje university has also sacked a number of non teaching staff as most of them confessed to this website that their contracts have not been renewed even after their previous term of service expired.
Although Ndejje University still ranks high among private universities in Uganda, Ndejje has maintained its move to weed out poor performing staff members in a move to clear its name from allegations of offering non accredited courses by media personalities.
