Busitema University is at the moment grieving the demise of one of its academic staff members.
The deceased has been identified as Dr. Angela Karoro from the Faculty of Science and Education.

“The Faculty of Science and Education fraternity has learnt with deep sorrow the untimely death of Dr. Angela Karoro who has been a Lecturer in the Department of Physics which occurred today 30th May, 2023, in Tororo,” a memo from the Dean reads in part.
According to the memo, burial and other arrangements will be communicated later. The cause of death is yet to be revealed.
