Kabale University community is grieving the loss of Natuhwera Brenda, a second-year student.
She was pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Operations and the cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
According to the death notice issued by the university, Brenda was laid to rest today 10th January, 2024, at her ancestral home in Muzirante cell, Shebeya Parish, in the Hamurwa Sub-County of Rubanda district.
The university administration expressed their profound sorrow in announcing her passing and extended their deepest condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
Brenda was remembered as a promising student in the university’s Tourism and Hospitality program. The university community has been deeply affected by this untimely loss.
Her funeral service and burial were conducted at her family home, where friends, family, and members of the university community gathered to pay their final respects.
The university has not released any additional details regarding the circumstances of her passing at this time.
