I am supposed to be a second year student at Makerere Business School (MUBS) doing a Bachelors in Human Resource Management. I stopped school in the first semester of first year after I started falling painfully sick with a swelling in the stomach that was later diagnosed as a tumor.
In June of 2014, I had my first operation and an ovarian cyst (tumor) was eliminated, it was tested and had no cancer cells. For over 6 months, they drained water (acrytis) from my stomach that kept coming back.
In Feb 2015, I was diagnosed with 2 tumors. One in my spleen and the other in the ovary. I underwent operation and the spleen tumor was removed together with my reproductive system. All operations where carried out by Dr. Mutyaaba of Kibuli hospital.
In Feb 2016, I underwent another operation after my digestion system collapsed and a tumor was removed from my stomach. I was then advised to undergo radiotherapy. On reaching where the radiotherapy was to be done, the machine had collapsed for at least one month. I didn’t under go radiotherapy.
I now have 2 more tumors in my waist. On diagnosis, it has been discovered that I am suffering from Malignant Teratoma. The tumors grow in three weeks and that’s when they start to hurt too much that I can’t even move. That’s why I am moving around now, looking for help before I am put down by the tumors.
