It comes to our attention that a Makerere University alumina identified as Dennis William Kyazze, was allegedly murdered by his long-time girlfriend only identified as Linda, a South African resident.
Kyazze had been hospitalized for close to six days after he was ‘beaten by thugs’ before he returned to his residence to recover from injuries sustained in the attack, according to his girlfriend.
A week later, Kyazze went missing from the public and the residents in his neighbourhood could nolonger trace him. His relatives could neither reach him on his phone.
On a random night, a concerned relative went to check up on him at his place only to find the girlfriend in the room and Kyazze lying dead under the bed in his room.
“It is reported that the relative found his brother’s girlfriend, at the scene while Kyazze’s body was found under the bed, with injuries on the upper body,” said Capt Kay Makhubele, the South African Police spokesperson.
Makhubele added that police were called to the scene and arrested Kyazze’s girlfriend after she failed to explain what exactly had happened.
According to reports, Kyazze’s relationship with his girlfriend had lasted for over 3 years but with a lot of violence in it. The deceased owned two hardware shops in Gauteng, Pretoria which were a big source of income for him. The deceased also graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in Education at Makerere University.
