Tragic news regarding the disappearance of a Makerere University student, Nakabembe Jackeline, could not get any worse with the latest findings.
After weeks of searching, Nakabembe Jackeline was yesterday reported dead with preliminary facts stating that she was raped, slain and her body dumped by unknown assailants.
Shocking revelations indicate that her body was found around Naguru, buried massively by the merciless goons.
It is a somber mood around the university especially at the College of Business and Management Sciences (COBAMs) where Jackeline belonged, with classmates grieving endlessly.
Jackeline was initially understood to be missing days later after the actual date of disappearance.
Close friends and family became worriedly sick about her absence days later, calling upon the public to aid in the search until yesterday’s mortifying news.
“Her parents and our class representative went today in hospitals around Kampala checking in mortuaries, it is a baffling and traumatizing experience anyone can go through,” one coursemate said as she wept.
It is alleged that the work place demands pushed her to tedious adjustments of working many hours in a bid to get more clients since payment was largely commission based.
An anonymous confidant has whispered to the press that Wefuunire should be cautioned.
“They put a lot of pressure on their employees that they be in the field up to weird hours. I know of someone who would get back home from work at around 11pm and would leave for work at 5 am. I am scared Jackie met with that tragedy at such a bad time while returning from the field,” a source disclosed.
Police investigations regarding the matter are ongoing hence burial arrangements to be communicated soon.
