Campus Bee has received very unfortunate news from Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) as Dr. Ronald Mayanja, a professional lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology has passed on.
Dr. Mayanja has been battling a chronic illness at Mengo Hospital where he finally succumbed to the treacherous disease. He was a dedicated gentleman who served his Alma Mater with passion and has left testimonies from his students, colleagues and superiors. Many have described him as a kind, humble and caring Doctor who will be dearly missed.
“I am saddened by the loss of a colleague, parent, lecturer among others. You fought a good fight, you finished the race. May God receive you dear soul.Rest in eternal peace,” wrote the Academic Registrar, MUST .
Dr. Mayanja hailed from Bulenga, Wakiso district where his body was taken before proceeding to Bukunja, Buikwe district his ancestral home where his body will be laid. May his Soul rest in eternal peace.
