Yesterday, Burahya County MP Margaret Muhanga who paid Shs 10b in cash to acquire a piece of land belonging to Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) scoffed at her colleagues investigating the matter before she confessed that she got the sh10b from selling her goats and cows, a statement that broke the internet early today as she has been trending since morning.
“We are lowkey farmers at home. I don’t understand why some people don’t just accept some people are self made,” she said, in a series of tweets.
Yvonne Ninsiima, Muhanga’s daughter also took to her Twitter timeline to stand by and support her mother’s claims and stance.
