Kuluthum Nabunya Muzaata ,a wife to late Sheik Nuhu Muzaata has today graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), the highest qualification in academics. Kuluthum, who graduated with a PhD in Educational Management was awarded this degree following a dedicated research study she has been undertaking.
Today the Chancellor Prof Ezra Suruma conferred degrees and awarded diplomas to graduands from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences as well as College of Education and External Studies.
The Makerere University 71st graduation ceremony, which started on Monday 17th May will run until Friday 21st in a blended arrangement that will see a total of 12,550 graduands secure degrees and diplomas in their respective courses. During this ceremony, 6,433 (51%) students are female while 6,117 (49%) are male.
Kuluthum, who has been in various scandals after the death of her husband also decked out in her graduation attire to physically attend her graduation ceremony. She holds a Bachelors degree in Education and a Masters degree in Educational Policy and Planning, both from Makerere University. She has a Certificate in Administrative Law from LDC and doubles as a KCCA Supervisor on Education Operations.
Kuluthum recently came out to deny allegations of romping with her house-help Umar Kabundu after phone call recordings of their conversation leaked. Other sources suggested that Kuluthum and Kabundu had something romantic going on and it was suspected by the late Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata.
