The latest news coming from Gulu university indicate that students at the state-owned university are finding a hard time to recover from the biggest guild shocker so far, Campus Bee has learnt. The cause of this shocker is none other than a decision by a pastor from a yet to be identified church applied for guild post at Gulu university.

The pastor, who also doubles as a student of this university is identified as Joseph Okidi who left his church in another caretaker’s hands. When asked why he left his church for politics, Okidi revealed that Gulu university needs a mature leader to solve most of the university’s problems which he categorized as moral problems.
He further noted that he is entitled to his right as a student above all, he cleared all of his tuition fees, he revealed this while appearing on Urban Tv guild campaign program. Okidi intends to take the university from glory to glory because he believes they are already better only fighting to become the best.
The university’s guild elections are set to take place on 2nd April 2017 when one of the four male candidates fight to emerge leader of northern Uganda’s best campus. The candidates include the controversial pastor Okidi Joseph, Ojok Moses Walter, Okodi Joseph and Mbaziira Daniel.
So far all candidates are trying to prove who has got the balls to lead by vowing to improve the university’s hygiene problems which Mbaziira Daniel based on to compare Gulu university to his former primary/ kindergarten.
According to Daniel, the university has no toilets, no health services and some students hold lectures under tree shades. We shall update you about this booming and hard – hitting ongoing race.
