It’s again that time of the year when almost every office in Makerere University is flooding with prospect graduands clearing with the campus ahead of their graduation.
But as this writer has exclusively found out, in the guild offices, the task has been left to a sweeper whose name we are yet to identify. Normally, this work is supposed to be done by the guild administrator whom we have only identified as Norah.
However, for the better part of the morning, Norah has been out of office and the sweeper has been seen clearing students who had filled the guild office to the brim with various documents that required verification, signing and stamping.
By Press time, Norah could not be traced for a comment, but updates to this story will follow soon.
